Alien Escapade º Episode 0467 - The Run Around: Captain, Gina, Leila, Malar, Qualla, Robert, Skipper, Tetra, Vanna, Zola, ~ 10 ``Tetra: I have given Malar some of my new clothes so she can come out with us. ``Vanna: Excellent, and not a bad fit. We can get some more whilst we are out. ``Malar: How is my fancy dress outfit? ``Vanna: You will pass. I will buy you a hat, as your hair is a light colour and could attract onlookers. Now Malar your English name will be Alice, and Tetra’s name will be Tina. ``Malar: Hello Tina: ``Tetra: Hello Alice. What about Zola? ``Vanna: Good point. Zola? What English name do you like? ``Zola: I like Barbara. ``Vanna: So that is now your English name Barbara, in case we are stopped at anytime. ``Zola: Good idea, Wendy. ``Captain: I am pleased we got rid of the Chinese yesterday as it gives us time to unwind, and get back into a standard routine. I have put your Hopper away and we are planning to leave at 02H00 local time. ``Vanna: Great. We will go and do some shopping and leave you to get all the gadgets working. A thought! I Know! I will bring back us some ‘fish and chips’ for everyone’s lunch, that should be a good laugh. Talk to Leila, and I will call her when we are on our way, as it has to be cooked fresh and kept hot. ``Leila: Skip, has been bringing me up to date on this satellite link-up, and we do want to be in on it. ``Vanna: Fine, we will go through it again later as Qualla and I, are going to try something. We are off shopping. --- ``Zola: It is not very warm out, so where is everyone? ``Vanna: It‘s lunch time. I will be back a few minutes. --- Here are some more clothes for Malar and Tetra. We can now go to my Bungalow. ``Tetra: I wanted to show Malar your place as I think it is quaint. ``Vanna: It is more like Grunay Halt. ``Malar: I have not been there! ``Vanna: Okay, I will arrange for you two to go, via monorail. ``Malar. Wow. ``Vanna: Hello Robert, I have the grand children with me today. They are full of beans, and they tire me out. ``Robert: Mine are coming over tomorrow, but is frustrating trying to play with them, in a wheelchair. ``Vanna: I understand, but I am being called, bye. ``Zola: Anything else to do? -|- ``Malar: We have been playing hide and seek in your garden. ``Vanna: Good. Okay girls, you can watch me call up Leila. [Telephone - Taps out the number] ``Leila: Hello! ``Vanna: I am off to the chippy now. ``Leila: Thanks. ``Malar: That is an odd way to communicate. ``Zola: Well, it does usually work. ``Malar: It is very limited. ``Zola: True, but they cannot cope with anything much else. ``Vanna: We will need, two shopping bags. [Fish & Chip Shop] ``Tetra: I can smell it from here! ``Malar: So can I. ``Vanna: He was pleased with an order for 11, and that lot went way over £100 with the extras. ``Zola: It will stink your car out, even though you have the roof open. ``Vanna: We will be at the Farm in within 5 minutes. [Dishing up food] ``Qualla: This is quite tasty. ``Captain: Mild and crispy. ``Vanna: Try the sauces. ``Leila: I’m impressed, everyone is eating. ``Vanna: As we managed to get a signal out, I thought we would go through the whole procedure again. and this time, try sending out a transmission through the network to the satellite link-up. Something tells me that they should be able to receive it. ``Leila: It must be possible. ``Skipper: It has to be, but I cannot remember what they had to do. ``Vanna: We will send Scotty a different message this time in Morse code; ‘Double Yokes’, representing our two sun systems. And Qualla, you can follow. ``Qualla: Sent. ``Vanna: Okay we now wait until we get home. ``Gina: Who is going to try out the tree walk? ``Tetra: I will. ``Malar: I will have to follow. --– It was a bit wobbly. ``Gina: I will strengthen it a bit more, but I need more rope. ``Vanna: Excellent, so we better get packed up as time is marching on. ``Leila: Last orders for food. ``Zola: Skipper is helping Leila, with the washing up. ``Vanna: Shush! We have to keep the momentum going. ``Zola: It was different for us, because we knew what we needed. ``Vanna: Yes, but that is not usual for Earthlings. ``Zola: So we just sit back and wait? ``Vanna: Just as we do in Cassiopeia.
