``Vanna: I need to see you quin, at my place tomorrow after skool. ``Tetra: Okay, is this about the trip? ``Vanna: Zaa, and I will not be pulling many punches, and none of your usual answers will do. ``Tetra: Zaa, Sister. ``Vanna: You want to do something that no one else has ever done, and you have not considered the consequences of your actions. ``Selina: I quite agree, with Vanna. ``Okapi: You are going to have to convince me as well, that you are sound in your judgement. ``Selina: You are not playing games here, this is real reality and there is no support in getting you back home safely. We are dealing with Beings lives, here. ``Vanna: I also want another essay knocked up, on your appraisals. ``Tetra: Okay, you win.

{Elders Committee Meeting ~ 5}
``Elder 3: This meeting is to discuss the merits of the Team findings, for the special trips into deep space to find this wormhole. ``Elder 1: I am pleased to say that no one is against this motion, and they have spent much of their own time and money debating the pros and cons of such an adventure. The risks are tremendously high for all. ``Elder 4: They have also paid out of their own pockets for initial finances. ``Elder 2: Their knowledge of understanding of the fundamentals does deserve some praise. ``Elder 4: What has intrigued me is, that everyone is willing to support these planned trips at cost price, yet, it will still cost a lot, because the Vulcan needs an upgrade. ``Elder 3: Therefore, we need to allocate a budget, but where will it come from, and how much? ``Elder 1: ¢25K. ``Elder 2: ¢40K. ``Elder 3: ¢50K. ``Elder 4: ¢60K. ``Elder 3: In that case, we will compromise at ¢50K [Zaa’s]. ``Elder 4: I will have to put back other projects back, as it is the wrong time on year to free up large sums after splashing out on Space Dock. ``Elder 2: Cut the project for the new way to the Cave, as it is a huge task. [Agrees’] Elder 3: Motion carried.

{Medics of Dr Poult + Group ~ 12}
``Captain: We do need to know what you have found out, because it is my duty to know as Captain and what I am taking on, as this is my initial responsibility. ``Dr Poult: I quite agree, and it is also Vanna’s responsibility as well to looking after her passengers. It would then become Leila’s responsibility if she had to take over. ``Leila: Leave me out of this, as I do not think I will be coming. ``Skipper: I too, do not think it is right for us to go, as we are needed here to look after things, whilst you could be away for weeks.

``Dr Poult: This nicely leads me into The Communications: between yourselves as it is going to get very difficult to converse. Therefore you do need a regular friend or partner with you for these trips. Whereas Ming has Kirin; Yanan/Qualla; Tetra/Malar; Vanna/Zola; Gina/Jarry and Leila/Skipper. You will need support of each other and one who you can trust and understand to help each other through the difficult periods.

``Captain: That would make a group of 7 passengers who are still not allowed on the Upper deck, although we are all allowed on the lower deck. We could allow short visits to the Upper deck, say for a half time each, to give a change of scenery. ``Dr Poult: That is a good idea, and you could use the scullery for another small change as well. ``Vanna: Tetra and Malar can use the cargo hole, as they are smaller. ``Tetra: I agree, and I suggest to our Captain we take Malar there, and show her. ``Captain: Approved. Cont.
