Alien Escapade º Episode 0550 - The Planners: Captain, C-Pilot, Leila, Scotty, Secretary-Nacra, Tetra, Vanna, Yafo, Zola, ~ 09 {Space Dock Centre ~ 7} ``Tetra: The idea for the revised plans for Chopper Dock, is as follows. The Hopper Pads will be marked out as in a triangle. The three points will be represented by their Company building and will allow for 6 Choppers. Any more than that, you have to arrange space from the other 2 companies. The central part will be reserved for bad weather or emergency landings, or for bigger Choppers. ``C-Pilot: What happens if we only have larger Choppers? ``Tetra: It is the area space covered, so once that is used up, you are snookered. The point angle of the triangle will be, north; west and South. The east side is the base of the triangle and to the right on the east side will be the Vulcan Dock. ``C-Pilot: What happens if we are all full up? ``Tetra: You could land, with permission at Space Dock or temporary on Vulcan base. ``C-Pilot: The clearances are not clear. ``Tetra: We are using standard Space Dock specification, plus an extra 5 metres for safety margins. If there are any other potential problems, then quin, take me over there, and show me. ``Yafo: Any further questions? ``Captain: It is an odd layout, and how do we know it is going to work? ``Tetra: If you take the game of Cassiopeian Chequers, that is based on triangles. It also means that you cannot jam up parking lots, as there are enough gaps between Choppers to get in and out. It will keep things clear for emergency services, getting around the perimeter track at all times. ``Secretary: Are we all in favour? Zaa? Any against? Qaa? Quacks? Qaa? Unanimous, Yafo. ``Yafo: Excellent, and this is not a wild whim of an idea of Tetra’s as she has put a lot of thought and effort into this project. I too have been baffled on how to come up with a sensible solution. Moreover, if it does not work out to be practical, we will all be a lot wiser, and can come up with an alternative solution. {Vanna’s Trullo, Meeting ~ 4} ``Vanna: I hope we have all recovered from our trip to Cepheus? ``Scotty: I did not go! ``Vanna: You can go on the next trip with Peggy. ``Scotty: Oh zarfs. ``Zola: It is a shame it was a working holiday. ``Vanna: Leila and Dalbir have priority on the next trip to Cepheus. ``Leila: Zarfs, and we do want to go. ``Vanna: Therefore Scotty, if there is no spare room left, you can go the third trip. ``Scotty. Agreed. ``Vanna: The Oligarchy has agreed to fund 3 trips per month, one to Earth, Algol and Cepheus. However, any other trips have to be paid for in advance. If any passengers go then they all pay ¢5K each and our Captain keeps ¢1K and passes the rest on. ``Scotty: That is fair. ``Leila: I approve. ``Zola: That is good. ``Vanna: We have meetings tomorrow with the Algolians, when everyone has fully recovered. We will be going to Earth within the next few qefs, which now takes a little over14-hours. ``Scotty: That is good. ``Vanna: Is there any interest in another trip to Planet Q? ``Leila: Zaa. ``Zola: I will go, if you are going. ``Scotty: I may come. ``Vanna: You may have to come, as we will have to get our computers to work, and we will be on their 6th Moon. ``Scotty: That will be interesting. ``Leila: Confusions here! Who is paying? ``Vanna: Initially, I am, so I am open to ideas and offers. ``Leila: I am not well off like you are, but I will chuck ¢500 into the pot. ``Scotty: I and Peggy will, so that is another ¢1K from us. ``Zola: I am happy to put ¢500 as well. ``Vanna: Accepted, but do we go to Planet Q before we go to Earth? ``Zola: There had to be a twist in this somewhere. ``Leila: It is your decision, if Dalbir can come as well? ``Vanna: Confirmed. Qualla will also be paying towards it, and I will include Tetra, as she can out-wit all of us on computers, which makes 7. Now the Earth trip, are we taking Joya, and are we bringing Feny up, which includes China? ``Scotty: Agreed. ``Leila: Agreed. ``Zola: Agreed. ``Vanna: Scotty, a message off to Keith quin; ‘no yolks with out the egg’. ``Leila: Clever one. ``Scotty: I will just send it. ``Leila: Good decision. ``Vanna: I will make a decision when our Captain is back on duty, but it will have to be Earth first. ``Leila: Good.
