Episode 1532 - Assure 4th ,P2: Cheb, Chela, Doctor, P172, P182, Para, Tetra, Vanna, ~ 08 ``Vanna: Quano pilots. I am Vanna, who has been appointed to sort out this accident. I am a professional pilot, and Tetra is also and a pilot and Chela is half way through the cadet course for the S152. P172: Impressive. ``S182: So haw many hours have you done? ``Vanna: I am licensed to fly any craft. I will make it my first question? ``P182: 828 hours. ``P172: 930 hours. ``Vanna: Do you know each other? ``P172: Not really, although I have seen him around. ``Vanna: P182, how come you two have not spoken. ``P182: I speak when I am spoken to. ``Vanna: What about your passengers? ``P182: And to them. ``Pira: Vanna, here is the data. ``Vanna: Zarfs, can we pop outside? --- Call in the duty SAA Doctor as I want them both checked over. ``Pira: Certus. ``Vanna: P182, come back in an hour quin. ``P182: Certus. ``Vanna: Tell us what happen! ``P172: I was given permission to land on SP2. It suddenly went dark and I can only presume that I was being over-shadow by another Saucer. Then there was a thud, as we were crunched onto the runway. ``Tetra: Did you know that S182 was behind you? ``P172: Qaa. ``Chela: Did you spot him in the circuit? ``P182: Qaa. -|- ``Doctor: How can I help? ``Vanna: This incident to me is suspicious, so I need you to do a full medical report. ``Doctor: Come with me to the First-Aid post, P172. [Munch Time] ``Tetra: It is Munch time, and we did not get any time for breakfast at the 5th hour. ``Vanna: Come and join us Cheb as it is on me. ``Chela: It appears that the S182 came down at the wrong angle, and it was the framework structure which did the damage. ``Cheb: I will check it out, as it is feasible. ``Tetra: Why were they both using standard call signs? ``Vanna: We will go and see Control next. [Space Dock Control Tower] ``Vanna: We have listened to the recording and although it says S172 it is muffled! Why is this? ``Control: I was eating a sweet. ``Vanna: How many in the circuit? ``Control at least 3. ``Vanna: Did you see S182 come down? ``Control: Zaa, and I sounded the crash alarm. ``Vanna: Did you at time give S182 permission to land? ``Control: Never. ``Tetra: Where did S182 come from? ``Control: No idea. [First Aid Post] ``Doctor: I have examined both pilots. The P172 is partially tone deaf, but it is on his records. The P182 I cannot actually pinpoint it, but I think he could have Arrhythmia, although it is unlikely to be a contributory factor. He may continue to fly as it is controllable, so I have requested further investigations. Other than that they are both in the clear. ``Vanna: Zarfs Doctor, see Pira on you way out and she will pay your bill. ``Doctor: Call me out any time. Zimo. ``Tetra: Back to square one! ``Chela: What happened to Cheb? [Inside S182] ``Vanna: Let us go and find him, probably inside S182. --- ``Cheb: It has been rebuilt from a previous crash, and they have not done the job properly. If Pilot saw that he would go mad. There have built on the framework and have not gone back to the main structure. ``Chela: I agree. ``Tetra: So that means we have three variables? ``Vanna: Zaa, but what caused the incident? ``Chela: Let us go and look at S172. [Inside S172] ``Cheb: This too had some bodywork repairs, but it was not structural. I need to knock out the dents. ``Tetra: I am not happy with this cockpit. ``Chela: This is the original old style. ``Tetra: In that case the mods have not been done. Cheb? ``Cheb: Zaa. ``Chela: Mods and electrics? ``Cheb: Zaa, I could smell toxic fumes. ``Tetra: That is 4 variables. ``Vanna: Again, what caused it? ``Cheb: All they have done is to spot welded everything back together. ``Vanna: No blame on that! ``Cheb: There is still something missing. ``Chela: I think P182 is hiding!. ``Tetra: Who was in co-pilot? ``Vanna: Let us go and find out. [VIP Lounge] ``Vanna: Where is your co-pilot? ``P182: He has gone home. ``Vanna: Get him back now! Cont: < Previous Page 1531 Lynx <38.2.8> Warm [10 ] 1377 <1533> 00/198] Next Page 1533> |
