Can we have a show of hands please on the number of candidates, which you reject! I start from 1 to 9. --- The total count means that 1, 5 & 8, are out of the race. The six left, will be renumbered and a further meeting this evening. Zaffre all, meeting closed.

{Elders Interview Meeting – Part 2 ~ 3}
``Leila: Ask number 5, what he would do, if they reached a stalemate? ``Qualla: Nothing. He would reschedule another task. ``Wendy: There seems to be a ganging up effect, with 3 & 6! ``Leila: The old pals act? ``Wendy: Yea, Not a good attitude, and number 1 is also rebelling against 3 & 6 aggressively.

``Leila: I still think the old number 3, should be dropped? ``Wendy: Agreed. Number 2 is the Cat, but she stays. ``Leila: I am not biased, but so far she has given me some sensible answers. ``Wendy: Agreed.

{Elders Interview Meeting - Part 3, Voting ~ 4}
``Elder 3: Friends, it is now time to vote, as we will have to drop one more candidate. Therefore will the candidates please leave the room. --- Zaffre. Members please show your hands, for voting on the next one to be dropped. --- There is a tie on 1 & 2. Therefore, we will take the vote again, on 1 & 2 only! --- ``Leila: I hope Number 2 has to stay. ``Wendy: Agreed. --- ``Elder 3: Show of hands please? --- Zarfs. ``Elder 1, this means that number 2 and 3, are now left for the run off. Final meeting is tomorrow for the new Elder to be appointed. Meeting closed. ``Wendy: Will you please come and see us in the morning? ``Qualla: Zaa, and will Scotty be present? ``Leila: Zaa and zarfs.

{Wendy’s Trullo – Meeting ~ 4}
``Wendy: We have one Cat and one Bear for the run-off. And we have 6 Bears and 2 Cats on the committee. ``Leila: That is still not a good balance, but can we help to even things up? However, I am not taking prisoners. ``Wendy: Nor me! There are 11 voting and it will be interesting which way Qualla votes. ``Leila: At least there will be no tiebreak, so the chair will not have to use his casting vote. ``Scotty: The notes say that the chair did have the casting vote, last time around as they could not come to an agreement. ``Leila: I think that is dangerous. ``Scotty: The Bears will want to keep the Bears in power. ``Leila: Even with another Cat, it is still not going to even things out. ``Wendy: True, so that still happens, even up here.

``Scotty: The Bear wants to change things, and he knows Elder 5. Neither is he liked, because he rattles off to the Press to get interviews. ``Wendy: So how did he get through the process? ``Leila: That is what the warning sign was, ‘triple coincidences’! ``Scotty: It looks that way, as he is too pushy and thus gets the job under false pretences. ``Wendy: So it has to be number 2? ``Scotty: Will the others see it that way? ``Wendy: The Cats will, and I think Qualla should, which makes 4. And, I think 1 & 4 will, which makes 6, and bingo. ``Scotty: That will make it 6/5 in favour, for the Cat. ``Leila: You do agree that she is the only sensible one? ``Scotty: Confirmed. It is a closed meeting, so the Press will be waiting outside. Cont.
