{Elders Final Meeting - Part 4 ~ 1}
``Elder 3: Friends. This is the final phase of the selection process for a replacement Elder. The two remaining candidates, have both been around for a long time. However, it is now up to you to vote on which one you prefer. Therefore, I have asked them to give a brief description on what they want to achieve.

{Elders Final Meeting, Candidate 1: ~ 1}
``Candidate: I want to get our message out more through the media, as many of our sects still do not know what is happening around us. I want to bring forward changes to our rules system, so the Elders have more control, in making the changes quickly. ``Elder 3: Zaffre, Candidate 1. Now for Candidate 2.

{Elders Meeting, Candidate 2: ~ 1}
``Candidate 2: There is many things we need to adjust in our present system to enable it to function better, allowing for some transparency. It is no good just changing everything, because others will still not agree. Therefore, you the Elders, would be back at square one. ``Elder 3: Zaffre, Candidate 2.

{Elders Final Meeting – Voting Part 4 ~ 2}
``Elder 3: Are there any other questions, before we proceed with the voting? --- Qaa? --- In that case, please vote with a ‘tick’ in the box, to which one you are voting for. Qualla will collect them in, including ours, and he will be counting the votes. --- All in Qualla? --- ``Qualla: Zaa. Elder 3, everyone has voted, and there are no spoilt papers or abstentions. I have 4 votes for Candidate 1, and 7 votes for candidate 2. --- [Applause] --- ``Elder 3: In that case I duly elect Joya, as the new Elder 9, and I welcome her onboard. [Applause] ``Leila: Blimey she has done it. ``Wendy: Amazing. ``Elder 3: Qualla please let the Press in! --- I will now ask Joya to give a speech, as the new Elder 9.

``Joya: Good evening friends. Unfortunately, some may think they have won and others have lost, but that is not in my philosophy. The higher we go, the more difficult things can become without understanding. Therefore it is best to resolve the issues we have before considering changing them. If things still need to be changed, then lets get on as a Team so we do not end up with the same arguments as in the past.

We are living in a world of change and evolution, which will bring a new destiny of enlightenment. This has already started to happen in the way of our alien friends. One of us will be travelling to Earth as a traveller, to experience a different style of life form, but this time they can return to us, to report back on their findings. The Earth is a mixed race, multicultural society and is a very complex world, which we must abide by; by not interfering with them. Moreover, I will be happy to work with all other Elders, even the 4 who did not vote for me, as I hope in time we can come to a compromise of acceptance. Thank you friends.

[Applause --- Standing Ovation]

{Elders Buffet Meeting ~ 4}
``Elder 3: Thank you Joya, for an encouraging opening speech. The meeting is now closed, but there is a reception and buffet in the next room for anyone who would like to stay on. ``Wendy: Dad we have done it, and she would still have made it even without our votes. ``Scotty: True, but you have influenced the decision and have helped to kick out the others. ``Leila: We were not sure, because no one really knows! ``Scotty: I was very impressed with her speech, and I was not expecting her to mention us, but that does mean ‘full support’ ``Leila: We certainly have our work cut out for us now! ``Wendy: We will leave her to the Press tonight, so lets eat and drink. ``Leila: We had better go home by Hopper-taxi. ``Scotty: Agreed.
