``Elder 1: This meeting is to discuss the merits of Elder 08. There is a discrepancy, between what he says and what we say. So I hand you over to our treasurer. ``Elder 4: Zarfs. I would like permission to scrutinize Elder 08’s computer system, to confirm where the problem lies, because he says he has made six claims, and the interim report confirms he has made eight claims. Moreover, it is my duty to have 100% accuracy. Scotty happens to have a backup copy of his old system, and we will use Qualla as an independent observer, to investigate the errors. ``Elder 3: Any questions? --- Qaa? --- Can we take a vote on the proposal by show of hands, quin? --- Zaa=4 --- Motion carried. Gera! ``Elder 1: Zaffre friends, we must always initially give anyone the benefit of the doubt. A full meeting tomorrow as this meeting is now closed.

``Zola: Are you avoiding me? ``Wendy: Qaa. I have just been so busy with mum and trying to get a day off, it just has not happened! At this rate, I am better off going to Earth for a rest. ``Zola: We just seem to be missing each other! ``Wendy: True, and I might even stay the night at mum’s to get a rest. ``Zola: Wow, you have moved on! ``Wendy: Standby! --- !!Scotty I am on my way over. ``Qualla: Zeno. ``Wendy: Quiff. ``Qualla: I can see now after speaking with Scotty that you have been scheming things up, over Elder 08! ``Leila: Where on earth; oh heck, but I am up here now! I will have to say, Never! ``Wendy: We would never dream of doing that. ``Scotty: Zenden. ``Qualla: However, there was a special meeting today, which I knew nothing about, but Scotty and I have been summoned to investigate Elder 08’s, old computer. ``Leila: It’s Scotty not us! ``Scotty: Cheeky! ``Wendy: More delays in getting Selina's’ upgraded? ``Qualla: Selina? There is a full meeting tomorrow, when museum extension comes up for approval and is there anything else, which can come up under Any other Business? ``Leila: Kirin wants to take me to the ‘bouncing ball games’! ``Scotty: Nice one. ``Wendy: Wow! Off the record, we wish to apply for a ‘freedom pass’, but we would need full support from the Oligarchy. ``Qualla: Owing to the circumstances with Elder 08, it is questionable whether you would get through. Therefore I suggest that you wait for the outcome of the investigations. ``Zola: A very wise decision. ``Wendy: However if he is clean, he stays, and we will still have to apply. ``Qualla: Approved. ``Wendy: So when are we going to get a day off? ``Leila: And me! ``Scotty: I am having to work overtime! ``Wendy: I am going out soon, so anything else up for discussion? ``Zola: Have we a date fixed yet for Earth? ``Qualla: I will find out when they can do the next trip, but maybe in 2 qefs. I suggest you go for your final clearance. ``Zola: Sure. Scotty any news from Ted? ``Scotty: Qaa, but I will send some Morse shortly.

``Okapi: Whom does the Hopper-buggy belong to? ``Selina: Guess! ``Okapi: Vanna? ``Selina: Zaa. ``Okapi: Great news, I was not sure. ``Selina: Leave them alone until super time. ``Okapi: Okay. --- Wendy: Mum -|- Oh quano father, -|- I have ordered some shoes, so they will be here tomorrow. ``Selina: Supper is almost ready, so go and wash your hands you two. ``Tetra: Mum, can Vanna stay here tonight quin? ``Selina: Absolutely. [Supper is served] ``Wendy: After Supper will you teach me how to play Cassiopeian Checkers? ``Tetra: Zaa. It is a hexagram configuration, and you have to make the line as long as possible, so you can get to the other side. There are a number ways of doing this, but mainly by jumping over so you have to block your opponent off. Nothing is taken off the board, so there is no opposition. All you have to do is to get across the other side, otherwise it is a stalemate, which often happens.
