You all have a copy of plans and costs involved, which have been drawn up. Option 1 is to extend the roof section – Option 2 is to attach an extension onto the existing unit – Option 3 is for a complete new wing. Any questions? --- Qaa? Can we go for a vote quin? Option 1 – Zaa = 2 --- Qaa = 7 --- Quacks = 1 Option 2 – Zaa = 8 --- Qaa = 1 --- Quacks = 1 Option 3 – Zaa = 1 --- Qaa = 7 --- Quacks = 2 Elder 3: Therefore Option 2 has been adopted, which means an extension to the exiting building. Any other Business --- Qaa --- Meeting closed. --- There will be a committee meeting in half a time. {Elders Committee Meeting ~ 7 + Qualla + Scotty + Sheriff} ``Elder 3: This special convened meeting is to discuss the merits of an expenses claim, which is denied, by ``Elder 08. ``So over to our Treasurer. ``Elder 4: Do you Elder 08 deny that you have made extra claims for expenses, that you should not have made? ``Elder 08: I have only made transactions that I know of. ``Elder 4: Owing to the circumstances, and under the rules of being an Elder, we have an automatic right to access your bank account ``Elder 08: So! ``Sheriff: Under a ‘supervision’ order we have conducted an independent search of your computer! ``Elder 08: You can’t have! It is encrypted with password protection. ``Elder 1: Okay Scotty, bring it in. --- [Elder 08 Expression; oh heck] --- When Scotty upgraded your computer, he did a full back up. So we were able to by pass your passwords and pull off the data, and recreate it. ``Elder 08: So? ``Sheriff: We have found 8 entries that you have received payment from us. ``Elder 08: I do not know of any such claims. It must be a computer glitch. ``Elder 4: So you still deny it? ``Elder 08: I cannot admit to something I do not or did not know about. ``Sheriff: As an Elder your allowance and expenses is ¢5,000 per month. Therefore you have not noticed that there is an extra ¢10,000’s in your bank account? ``Elder 08: Qaa. ``Sheriff: Do you still dispute the claim? ``Elder 08: Not now. ``Sheriff: What do you intend to do about it? ``Elder 08: I will have to pay it back? ``Elder 4: Scotty will you switch over into live banking mode. --- Elder 08 would you like to do that now quin? ``Elder 08: I do not have that much in the account! ``Sheriff: How do you know that, as you did not know about the ¢10,000? ``Elder 08: I have had a clear out, which I occasionally do and check things. ``Elder 4: You have transferred money into other banking systems. ``Elder 08: Sometimes. ``Elder 4: Put the password in Scotty. --- You have been sending ¢2,000 per month to another source, but you still do not know about the two extra items? ``Elder 08: I do now [Squirming]. ``Elder 4: How soon can you make payment back into our account? ``Elder 08: It will take a while, probably a month or two. ``Elder 4: Would you like to make a good will payment? ``Elder 08: I can give you a thousand qintars now! ``Elder 4: Scotty can you make that transaction, quin? --- ``Scotty: Done. --- ``Elder 4: Can you pay us back ¢2,000 per month? ``Elder 08: I will try. ``Elder 1: I have seen and heard enough for one day, you are free to go [Deposed Elder 08] -|- [Emphasis] ``Sheriff: Not so fast! Elder 08, I am arresting you on suspicion of fraud charges. Elder 3 please clear out his chambers and arrange for another full meeting, new Elder required owing to resignation of Elder 08. Zarfs all for coming. In fact I will buy you all a drink, I certainly need one or two. ``Scotty: And lunch? ``Elder 1: Agreed: ``Scotty: Will that be on an expenses claim? ``Elder 1: Ha, ha, ha!
